Swap it Week 5: Easy Swaps

When kids help plan and pack they own lunchbox they are more likely to eat it

Getting your children involved in packing their lunchbox gives them a sense of ownership and control over what they eat. It also adds a level of excitement. A simple Swap It way tp make their lunches healthier is to swap pre-packaged cheese dip and crackers for wholegrain crackers and cheese. Alternating cheese dip with hummus and veggie sticks may help keep you child from finding the same snack boring.
